With reference to my telegram of the 12th August)
I have the honour to request that an Assistant Master may be selected to fill the vacancy caused by Mr. Curwen's death.

I enclose in duplicate a paper of particulars of
the appointment.

It is desirable that the person engaged should arrive in the Colony not later than the end of January next as the school holidays end in February.
